ISDT Q6 Retro 350W – miniature charger
The ISDT Q6 Retro 350W miniature charger is an intelligent charger powered by a car battery or a stabilized power supply and offers very simple, straightforward operation. The Q6 Retro can charge and discharge common cell types (NiCd, NiMH, LiPo, LiHV, ULiHV, Li-Ion, LiFe, and Lead) . It also features a built-in 6-channel balancer that ensures safe charging of lithium batteries. Equipped with a color LCD display and programming wheel/button, it enables convenient, straightforward parameter setting, control, and monitoring of the charging/discharging process.
Special features
- Program for new “high-voltage” lithium batteries: LiHV up to 4.35 V and ULiHV up to 4.45 V final voltage.
- Adjustable charge and discharge voltage for lithium batteries (gentle charging for pilots or deliberately higher voltage as preferred by car enthusiasts) .
- Adjustable final charging voltage for lead-acid batteries (2.00–2.45 V) – suitable for all types of lead-acid batteries.
- Powerful balancer with up to 1.5 A balancing current.
- Communication and initiation of charging/discharging without device configuration with iSDT smart modules (battery data stored in the module, parameters preset via the BattAir app). Operation with a preconfigured smart module or under smartphone supervision with the BattAir and ISD Link apps (Android/iOS).
Overview: Basic functions & parameters
- DC power supply 10–30 V (XT60 socket). Note: For full performance, the supply voltage should be at least 24 V.
- Charge/discharge 1-16 NiCd/NiMH cells, 1-6 Li-Ion/Li-Poly/Li-Fe/LiHV/ULiHV cells or 2-24V lead batteries.
- Adjustable charging current 0.1–16.0 A (max. 350 W).
- Adjustable discharge current 0.1–1.0 A (max. 10 W).
- Automatic charging termination via Delta-Peak for NiCd/NiMH.
- Lithium and lead batteries are charged with “constant current/constant voltage” (CC/CV).
- Adjustable sensitivity of delta peak detection for NiCd/NiMH.
- Adjustable charge and discharge voltage for lithium and lead batteries.
- Three modes for lithium batteries: charging , discharging , and storage —each with or without a balancer. There's also a disposal discharge mode for safe discharging before recycling.
- Power supply mode: Stabilized output voltage 5-30 V, current 0.5-10.0 A.
- Easy firmware updates via USB-C and ISD Go PC program.
- Backlit color LCD with clear menu and parameter display during charging/discharging.
- Programming wheel/button for simple, clear operation.
- Extensive safety warnings: incorrect input voltage, incorrect connection, unsuitable battery/condition, incorrect output polarity, etc.
- Fan for forced cooling.
- Compact plastic housing, miniature dimensions.
Connections & Compatibility
The charger features an XT60 output socket and a universal socket for JST-XH balance plugs. This allows for the direct connection of battery power cables and JST-XH balance plugs from 2-6S sets. Using sets with XT60 and JST-XH plugs eliminates the need for additional charging cables and adapters. Standard adapters from Sky RC or RC System can be used for balance plugs from other systems.
